Summer Wilson is a technical designer, entrepreneur, athlete, philanthropist, and mom.
As the founding lead designer at lululemon athletica, she designed some of the company’s most successful and iconic products including the groove pant and the logo hoodie.
She later went on to co-found Kit and Ace, a luxury retail brand, and Ride Cycle Club, an indoor spin studio.
Today, Summer pursues apparel design through Turf Active, an activewear brand delivering essentials that move seamlessly from workout to hangout.
In her personal life, Summer is passionate about Vancouver and developing its creative and entrepreneurial community. Through their family foundation, the Wilsons have supported local art and design initiatives such as the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) and the Wilson Arts Plaza at Emily Carr University. The foundation also supports land conservancy in BC.
Summer is also a burgeoning artist and launched her inaugural collection, Organic Formulas, in 2024. Blending the meticulous structure of finance with the untamed beauty of West Coast landscapes, the collection debuted in an exhibition in Vancouver.
